Kejmar drove me to his favorite restaurant near his country house located 50km west of Prague. A rural landscape came in sight soon after we passed through Prague. I saw houses with red roofs, carpets of green grass, and the green of spring trees. It was so quiet, and I could find only a few people! |

At the restaurant
We arrived at the restaurant after driving for one hour. I enjoyed eating pork and steamed bread in the area. Kejmar was talking friendly with other customers. One stocky man he spoke with was a pig farmer, and I was surprised that he had just carved up a pig.

| | Home of Post horn
After lunch, Kejmar took me to a park near the restaurant. It is said that Mahler had stayed in this town (Vlasim) to compose symphony No.3 in one summer, and walked around this park. I did not know such a place existed! |

| | | | Path in the park. It's long! | |
| | "Look, can you see a stream over there!? I heard Mahler had thought up a melody of the Post horn there." Woman next to him is a his Japanese student. | |
| | | The path Maller walked?!
This park was very large. He said that Mahler got his inspiration for the solo part of the post horn when he was beside the stream deep in the park. I was really excited about that story, but was still in disbelief.

| | Mahler's uncle' house
In this village, there is the house that Mahler's uncle was living in. I was surprised to find a memorial plate with the doorplates. I can't explain the details written in Czech, but I found the date of birth and death of Mahler. He was born in Bohemia, which is not far from this village. Kejmar was also born in Bohemia. He was blowing the flugelhorn in the military before he joined the Czech pihil, so I think he is a perfect man to play solo part of the post horn. I will never forget this pleasure of coming to the "Home of post horn" with a post horn player. |

| | | | Hurry to the church!
Kejmar is talkative. He starts to talk anywhere when he meets his friends. His country house was in the village near there. We were visiting his neighbor just to say hello at first, but we ended up coming in his house. Kejmar was joining the concert at the church in Prague that night, so I was worried about time. We went back to Prague in a hurry, and arrived at St Nicholas church (kostel sv.mikulase) in Old Town Square. Kejmar said that he often played with Pokorna, organist, in this church. They were ready after a light reharsal. There were a lot of tourists and seats quickly became full. They performed Handel, Schubert, Albinoni, etc. The sounds of piccolo trumpet were strong and the flugelhorn resounded in the church. It was so nice! After the performance, Yan, Keimar's son, joined us and we enjoyed our last night in Prague at the restaurant drinking beer. I got some asking of mouthpiece there. I am going to Linz of Austria from Prague station tomorrow. Kejmar is going to drive me to the station. Thanks Kejmar!!
